REGINA HIGH SCHOOL RANKS NUMBER ONE ON THE BELIN BLANK AP INDEX
This is the fourth year The Connie Belin & Jacqueline N. Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development (Belin-Blank Center) has presented the Iowa AP Index as an indicator of Advanced Placement (AP®) opportunities for Iowa students. Because AP exams are scheduled in late spring, the Iowa AP Index for a given year is based on the exams and graduates of the previous year. Thus, the 2008 Iowa AP Index is based on the May 2007 AP exams and May/June 2007 graduates.
Regina High School is the number one school in the state for number of graduates (2007) who took AP exams. Congratulations to our students for making a commitment to high-level academic opportunities during their school year.
Information concerning the AP Index can be viewed at http://www.iowaapindex.org/. To view the entire list of schools visit http://www.iowaapindex.org/top50.html.
